A Few of my Favorite Snacks

Letโ€™s face it, sometimes itโ€™s hard to try something new. The time, costs and feared waste keeps me from trying new things but, when I find things that I love I like sharing it with you! Here are a few of my current favorite things~

Mikeyโ€™s Muffins- these are amazing. I almost hate to share how much I like them because they are already hard to find! They have 5 ingredients one of which is water, that is what drew me in originally. The taste and versatility is what keeps me stocking up on them! They are made with almond flour and eggs, so there are 5 grams of protein per english muffin. I will add half of a muffin with my two eggs if I am going to have a long day of training to help me make it until lunch. I also enjoy them for a snack, if I need a burst of energy I add coconut oil, almond butter and a banana. This helps me get in another fruit for the day not to mention a good amount of protein and good fat.

Kombucha~ talk about a powerful drink! I currently drink 6 ounces of Tart Cherry Kombucha in the early afternoon to boost my energy for the rest of the day. I also drink 8 ounces of Gingerade Kombucha with dinner to help ease muscle soreness (ginger/probiotic combination) and joint pain. Donโ€™t be scared of the word kombucha, give it a chance and you will love it!  Iโ€™ve had some clients switch from soda to kombucha, you still have the fizz but none of the bad things that come with soda.

Guacamole with fresh vegetables such as carrots, celery, bell pepper and cucumber slices. This is a great way to indulge in guacamole without the chips. Delicious and filling every time!

Give my recommendations a try, they are great ways to add healthy food into your day without missing out on any of the flavor.

Enjoy my friends!
