Hello my friends! I recently co-led a lymphatic workshop with my wonderful friend Caprice who is a true gem and knows her stuff when it comes to massage and herbs for healthy living. I developed this honey and ginger fruit salad for our workshop due to its extraordinary benefits when it comes to the lymphatic system. So today I’m going to share the recipe but also all the good things each ingredient is doing for you!
Oranges: Citrus fruits help in improving the flow of lymph and hydrate the body. Theyโre rich in enzymes and antioxidants that contribute to a stronger immune system and help in cleansing the body fluids from toxins.
Berries: Rich in detoxifying benefits and add hydration for healthy lymph flow. Cranberries are also a great addition due to their ability to flush the lymph system.
Apple: Great fiber, to again, help keep our gut moving!
Ginger: Besides stimulating circulation, ginger also supports digestive function and helps in preventing constipation and the accumulation of food debris inside the body. Ginger also naturally cleanses the lymphatic system.
Nuts: Nuts provide essential fatty acids, which are needed for the absorption of fat-soluble minerals and vitamins, as well as for the removal of food debris from the body.
Honey: Antibacterial, detoxifying, builds immune system, aids digestion, anti-inflammatory (IF YOU USE GOOD RAW HONEY!)
