Making the Perfect, Aรงai Bowl

Okay, maybe it’s not “perfect” for everyone but there are so many ingredients that can be changed around in an aรงai bowl that I’m sure a perfect combo is out there for you!

Here are a few reasons I really enjoy throwing one of these together:

  • It’s one pot, a blender to be exact
  • It’s so versatile I can use what I have on hand
  • It is extremely yummy
  • Depending on what you put in it can be extremely nutritious
  • High in antioxidants
  • Did I mention it’s yummy???
Cute dish, yummy insides

I thought we would get the basics down first and then I’ll share some of the many add in options!

So the basics include:

  • 3.5oz Aรงai berries frozen or in a pre-blended smoothie pack
  • 1 Banana (use half in blend and other half on top)
  • 2T non dairy milk (coconut, rice, nut, etc)
  • 1 Pitted date
  • 1T. nut butter or sunbutter

Throw all these things into a blender until smooth, sometimes I need to add a little more milk, adjust as needed.

Now for the add ins:

  • Banana (as stated above, use the other half)
  • Berries
  • Nuts
  • Dried goji berries
  • Granola
  • Kiwi
  • Pineapple
  • Seeds (chia, sunflower, pumpkin, etc)

BOOM! You have a nutritious meal, without a lot of thought or clean up and it is so delicious!

Share your favorite combos with me!!

XOXO,
