Mindful Meditation For Sleep

Hello my friends!

The last step in our sleep journey together is meditation. Studies have shown meditation helps relax your body, releasing tension and placing you in a peaceful state which makes you more likely to fall asleep. In other words, it helps you fall asleep sooner and stay asleep longer by controlling those runaway thoughts that often lead to insomnia.

Meditation is something we can all do to improve our mental and emotional health. One of the best parts of meditation is that you can do it anywhere and you donโ€™t need any special equipment!

So, if you are new to meditation start with just a few minutes (3-5) and try not to get frustrated when your mind begins to wonder. That is normal! Even the most experienced at meditation have a wondering mind here and there. As your mind begins to wonder less try increasing your time.

Here is a short meditation to get you started!

Quick Meditation

Thank you for joining me on our journey for better sleep. I hope youโ€™ve found some useful tips to incorporate into your daily life!

May your mind be calm and your sleep be restful!
